Privacy policy
Scanlanmax is a static reading site. There are no accounts, no forms and no comments, so there is very little to say — but here it is in full.

Who is responsible
This site, scanlanmax.biz, is run by its editor, ANDIS ZARINS. For any privacy question or request, emaileditor@scanlanmax.biz.
What happens when you visit
The site is a set of pre-built pages served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the service from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address, browser user-agent, the page requested and the time of the request. We do not run our own server logs, and we do not use this data to identify visitors. Cloudflare’s handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request, under Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising measurement
At the time of writing, no analytics or advertising tag is loaded on this site. We may later promote the site with Google Ads and add Google’s tag to measure whether those ads lead to visits. If we do, this section and ourcookie page will be updated to describe exactly what the tag collects before it goes live.
Links to vendor websites
Product links on this site go directly to each vendor’s official website; nothing is added to the address. While no Google tag is loaded, clicking one records nothing. If we add the tag, it will record one “outbound_click” event (the tool name and the destination address) per click on a vendor link, and this section will say so.
What we store in your browser
If you use the light/dark switch in the header, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key sa-theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If you email us
We receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and to act on corrections, keep it no longer than needed for that, and never sell or share it. Mail to our domain is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing to the editor’s mailbox.
Links to other sites
Links to vendor websites open those sites directly. Once you are there, their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the UK or EU GDPR, or California’s privacy laws — you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you, or to object to its use. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests can be answered quickly: write to editor@scanlanmax.biz. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If anything above changes, we update this page and the review date at the top.
